Allanah has been a New Zealand Primary School Teacher for most of her working life.
She is an Apple Distinguished Educator- class of 2011
And a Google Certified Teacher- class of 2013.
This year she is working four days a week for CORE Education as part of the Te Toi Tupu Consortium and one day a week teaching at Clifton Terrace School in Nelson.
“Your insight and knowledge has helped us to understand the strategic direction we will take to further integrate technology into classroom pedagogy and develop our strategic approach. Moreover, and perhaps most importantly, we appreciated your friendly, humorous and practical approach, the manner in which you spoke and worked with teachers allowed you to work effectively in our context." Cook Island MOE August 2015
Thank you for presenting your workshop tonight. Everyone I heard coming out of your workshop was buzzing. You inspire, enlighten and coax even the reluctant to give it a go. From all of our Mid Canterbury Fibre Connected School’s district THANK YOU for making the time to come down and shine some sunshine into classrooms during this miserable weather. Jan Anderson - March 2014
I particularly enjoyed Allanah King's workshop as there was opportunity to practise and it was humorous and practical. I have since experimented with many of the apps and plan to use many of them soon. Hereora Cluster Teacher Only Day April 2014

I wanted to write you a quick “Thank You” to let you know what an amazing job you did to help make the North Island and South Island NZ GAFE Summits a success. We know we couldn’t have done this without you. Molly Schroeder, EdTechTeam Summits Program Chair, April 2014
